A simple bracelet of flowers, a potion, and a note of encouragement signed with the letters NfR.

Noel makes no comment about it.]

[It's late-- because he had no idea about this gift giving thing. Yeul left something for him (as weird as it was) so...

Packaged up and left on her bed is a new coat for her. Since he thought something practical would be good for her and since she needs more clothing as well.]

And another present! Yeul gets a snowglobe. But not just any snowglobe - she gets the one Regis could find with maximum glitter inside. He knows better than to give anything that will pour glitter everywhere, but since Yeul seems to share his delight in the stuff, she can play with and watch it at all times.

[Once upon a time, the Yeuls would wander the wilderness with their Guardian. She never had such an opportunity but the itch to roam still stays with her.]

[He doesn't know the guy well but they seem like friends - maybe the guy doesn't want Yeul wandering about.]

Yeah but only to Briarlan for a couple of weeks.

[ Knock, knock, knock. Someone's come to visit, and there may be the scent of dry, desert air clinging to him. ]

Yeul? Are you home?

[Dry desert air is a good thing because everything around Yeul has been a drizzly soggy messy yuck for a couple of weeks now. Not that she'll ever openly let on that she's feeling down, but the world does rather announce it anyway. When she comes to the door, she's cradling her Oracle Drive in her arms and affects a smile. It's genuine enough as she's happy to see Larsa, but not nearly as bright as she's wont to have usually.]

Larsa! It's so good to see you!

[She misses having him around.]

[ Well. That is an unexpected sight, and impression, and Larsa pauses in his tracks to reevaluate the situation. Somewhat more seriously, but not less willingly, he nods. ]

I brought you something I believe you will like to try, if you have not, yet. Have you eaten anything made of cactus, before?

Made of cactus? Is it prickly like a cactuar?

[Those things have needles and she's spent hours plucking them out of some poor hunter's backside before.]

[ because he promised to honor his promise to the household, he doesn't enter at all. Instead left on the doorstep is a giant box left for Yeul. In big fancy writing, it says for Yeul but doesn't state who it's from. Inside the box, it's completely full of beaded hair accessories and SO MANY BEADS and leather string to make her own accessories and bracelets and what not. Enjoy. ]

Christmas gift

[ He wants to give Yeul the world, but that obviously isn't an option. So, he gifts her what she can, which may be more than he gives most. After the memories, how can he not?

The first bit is practical. He gifts her various coupons he's purchased for fast food places in order for her to have food, even if he knows Noel wouldn't let her go hungry.

The rest isn't as practical. The second gift is a large bear, a stuffed animal that's almost the size of a person. She's gentle by nature and lacked the childhood she'd deserved. Girls her age would like it? Right? Maybe not.

The third gift rests around the bear's throat. It's a necklace with no real jewels, but it seemed...femineine? ]

[On Christmas day there is a delivery of a gold-colored tin of shortbread cookies and a wrapped gift of a giant blue blanket. There is also a holiday card attached.]

[ On the doorstep of the Crystalfam's home, there will be a box sitting neatly. The tag says it's TO Yeul but it doesn't have who it's from. By now the crystal fam is probably used to unnamed gifts popping up on their doorsteps but that's neither here nor there.

If she sneaks it open, she'll find this outfit inside the box. and a gentle note that she could probably recognize the handwriting up telling her to enjoy the festival of flowers. ]

[Please. Yeul used to go peeping up and down the timeline. Like she hasn't sussed out who the lovely gifts are from. The handwriting is a dead giveaway.]

She'll hear a sigh from his end, but it was more amused than anything.]

[ The "anonymous" gifter strikes again. Leaving a small box on the porch by the front door. Inside the box are a few new beaded hair accessories, and two fancy meal tickets to eat out at one of the more fancier places in Verens.

It doesn't say happy birthday or anything, but it did appear on her birthday hmmm. ]

[Even unsigned, Yeul's got a pretty good idea who this is from. She loves the gift, of course, but she's delighted that he remembered her birthday. Already slipping the pretties into her hair too.]
